Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th 1965. She is an American producer and actress. She is most famous for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick earned the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and also an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. Following the seventh season, Sedgwick was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The show ended on August 13 in 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe nomination for her role as Madeline Wuntch on Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film appearances include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007) as well as The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald and is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII, a speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has openly declared her Jewish heritage and has said she is a part of Passover seders.
